NEW CASTLE, Pennsylvania - An apparent dispute over $20 ends with one man seriously injured and another in custody.
Around 2:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon in an area of New Castle often referred to as tent city, police found a man with a deep laceration to his neck.
He told police his attacker fled across the street.
Police found James Vukich hiding behind a local convenience store and arrested him.
He is charged with assault and resisting arrest.
The victim claims he asked Vukich to repay $20 he loaned to him and that's when the suspect pulled a knife and slashed him.
