The campaign stop included a roundtable discussion at a Bedford Heights manufacturing plant; American Spring Wire.
The company says it has struggled after losing a number of its customers during the economic downturn.
Mitt Romney told the crowd real recovery is needed and that's why the country needs new leadership.
"You can be extraordinarily eloquent and describe all the wonderful things you can do. But when you cut through the words you can look at the record and see policies that have not created the jobs America needs. And you know it's time to choose a new leader, get a new coach, get America growing again," Romney said.
Governor Romney made stops in suburban Columbus, Cleveland and Toledo on Wednesday.
