Man charged in connection with work zone accident that killed a Campbell man

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Authorities near Cleveland say a man has stepped forward in connection with a work zone crash that claimed the life of a Campbell man.

Earlier this month, 63-year-old Peter Maglis was working on a construction job along Interstate 90 in Avon when he was hit and pinned between two vehicles.

On Thursday, Anthony J. Rose, Jr. turned himself into authorities.

Rose is charged with assured clear distance ahead and vehicular manslaughter.

Maglis died at an emergency care center before being flown to another hospital.
