New Wilmington farmer pays tribute to 910 Airlift Wing in a special way

Updated:

NEW WILMINGTON, Pennsylvania - It's not unusual this time of year to find corn mazes. But one Valley corn maze is getting a special acknowledgment from the Air Reserve Station in Vienna.

Colonel Bill Phillips of the 910th Airlift Wing thanked Rob Milliron of New Wilmington by presenting him an aerial photo of his very special corn maze.

Milliron, who owns Iron Mills Farmstead, constructed his corn maze to look like a C-130. He made the maze for the airmen to see while they are flying over his farm during training routes.

Milliron says the maze is his way of thanking those who serve. The maze is open to the public each weekend through October 28th.
