YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Valley Democrats are urging voters to cast their ballots for the President's re-election.

Local union leaders joined Valley Congressman Tim Ryan on Monday afternoon touting President Obama's achievements which they claim have saved thousands of local jobs.

They say vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan's trip to the Valley on Monday night is an attempt at trying to convince people otherwise.

"I think everyone is making the final push and he is going to try and come here and fool people and make people in our community think he is somehow for manufacturing," Ryan said.

The local Democrats have plans to go door-to-door and make phone calls up through Election Day.
