Updated:

NILES, Ohio - On Saturday, November 10th from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Super Kmart in the Eastwood Mall complex, 21 WFMJ Today on-air personalities will be collecting food for the 6th annual Project: Feed Our Valley campaign.

It's also Mike Case's birthday so stop out and wish him a Happy Birthday and donate to the campaign.

Project: Feed Our Valley is an effort to educate people about hunger in our community. It's also a "call to action" to raise vital donations of food and money in order to feed our hungry neighbors in the Mahoning Valley. Since its inception six years ago, Project: Feed Our Valley has collected $289,090 and 329,943 pounds of food to help feed hungry people in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley distributes food to 153 hunger relief organizations in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties. These organizations include church pantries, homeless shelters and soup kitchens, shelters for battered women and after-school programs.
