LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Liberty High School students showed their appreciation to Veterans on Friday in a special assembly.
The high school band and choir performed honoring all branches of the military.
One veteran who was drafted says he didn't have a choice about military service like the young people of today, but says it was a worthwhile experience.
"It's probably one of the best experience you will ever have because you are going to be thrown together with people you never know. I am still in contact with some people some 60-years later," said Liberty resident and veteran John Giannini.
The guest speaker was Major Brent Davis from the 910th Air Reserve. He shared his experience and gratitude for those who serve and are still deployed.
