BOARDMAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Boardman fire crews were called out to the Perkins Restaurant on Route 224 early Friday morning.
At around 5:30 a.m., reports came in of smoke in the building. The manager says an air conditioner overheated.
Patrons and employees were evacuated until the flames were put out.
No one was hurt, but damages are estimated at $8,000.
