Brookfield Police Department holding an auction Saturday morning

BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - If you enjoy auctions, you may want to drop by the Brookfield Township Police Department on Saturday morning.

The department is holding an auction for a variety of unclaimed police property.

The items include vehicles that were confiscated in drug cases; an ATV, a motorcycle and numerous bicycles.

The money raised will be divided into various funds for law enforcement programs.

"The proceeds go in certain funds. We'll have vehicles from drug investigations, those proceeds will go into a drug fund for further investigations or equipment that we need," said Dan Faustino, Brookfield Police Chief.

The chief says bidders can begin registering at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and the auction will begin at 10:00 a.m..

Cash is preferred and no credit cards will be accepted.
