COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal one-car crash in Columbiana County.

The accident occurred shortly before 5:00 a.m. on Sunday on State Route 558 in Unity Township.

Twenty-year-old Taylor Bilbo of East Palestine was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say his pickup truck went out of control hitting a sign and a ditch before becoming airborne then striking a tree and landing on its top in a creek.

The investigation continues.
