WARREN, Ohio - It was a feast fit for the entire community at the Warren Family Mission's annual Thanksgiving Day meal.

A line formed outside the doors about an hour before they opened.

All of the food was donated to the cause.

More than 150 people spent their afternoon volunteering to help. Warren resident Roshel Ellis pulled her daughter out of school early so she could learn a lesson of her own.

"There are a lot of people in our own backyard that need our help. So, that is why I brought my daughter down here today and myself to try and give back to the community," Ellis said.

Event organizers say the need for food in the area has grown dramatically over the year. Three thousand meals were prepared for the event.
