YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - United Auto Workers across the country and here in the Valley plan to protest in support of Wal-Mart employees on Black Friday.
Members from UAW Local 1714 plan to stand outside stores in Niles, Warren, Austintown and Youngstown.
The UAW says it backs some Wal-Mart employees who are urging the retail giant to pay them better wages and benefits.
Wal-Mart issued a statement saying that it doesn't expect any impact on the chain's Black Friday plans adding that the protests involve a handful of protestors at a handful of stores.
