YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown State men's basketball team is looking to snap a three game losing streak on Wednesday night against Kent State.

After starting 3-0, Jerry Slocum's crew has dropped three straight.

The Penguins are playing only their second home game of the season.

Following last week's three games in three days, they finally have their legs back.

It's that part of the schedule with back-to-back games against Mid American Conference schools. Wednesday it's the Flashes and then they are on the road on Saturday at Bowling Green.

"Historically this has been a fun night for us because it's a good opponent. A team that historically is one of the best teams in the MAC and our people enjoy seeing the game. Our kids have worked hard. They deserve people coming out, because of the fact A, I think we're good and B, I think they work hard. I think they deserve that," Slocum said.
