YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Brandi Brown has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week.

Brown posted 18 points and 12 rebounds in the Penguins win over Miami of Ohio on Sunday.

The senior from California has posted four straight double-doubles to start the season and is averaging 21 points and 14 boards.

Against Miami she scored career point 15 hundred and moved into third place on YSU's career rebounds list.

The Penguins play at Northern Kentucky on Tuesday night.
