NEW CASTLE, Pennsylvania - The mother of a seven-year-old New Castle Boy run over by a truck in his own front yard on Sunday is speaking out for the first time.

Police say Octavius Stone was killed when a truck driven by 66-year-old Virgil Coonfare jumped the curb and went up a small hill in front of a home on Winslow Street where two boys were playing.

Witnesses say Octavius may have saved the other boy's life.

Chanet Jones, Octavius's mother, visited the scene on Tuesday.

"He seen the car coming and he pushed him. Ozzy didn't get hurt and my son got murdered," Jones said. "I'll never hear him say 'I love you,' or kiss him good night."

Police say Coonfare will face charges that include homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence.
