BEREA, Ohio (AP) - Browns coach Pat Shurmur sees major progress in his young team and room to grow.

With a game-clinching, 94-yard touchdown drive in the fourth quarter Sunday at Oakland, the Browns (4-8) snapped a 12-game road losing streak and won their second straight game. It's another step forward for Cleveland, which is trying to shake off years of losing and mostly horrendous football. Shurmur believes the Browns are getting better in his second season, and he feels he has improved, too.

Shurmur's future could hinge on Cleveland's last four games. New Browns owner Jimmy Haslam said last week he feels the team is headed in the right direction, but that doesn't guarantee Shurmur will be back for a third season. Shurmur is pleased that Haslam sees progress but he's only concerned about getting the Browns ready for this week's game against Kansas City.
