COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - The Columbiana County police chief is warning residents of solicitors who have not been permitted to go door-to-door.
Chief Gladis issued a warning on the department's Facebook page asking residents to be cautious of solicitors for True Energy.

Last year, the county took away the licenses to to solicit for True Energy after receiving complaints. Gladis also noted that some of the solicitors who applied for the license had outstanding warrants in the county.
The solicitors out now are not permitted and police ask that residents contact police if they encounter any unlicensed solicitors.
