WARREN, Ohio - A Warren police officer has been fired following a probation violation stemming from an OVI charge.

Officer Jeffrey Miller had been ordered to undergo treatment following an OVI in Boardman earlier this year.

Miller was sentenced to five days in jail for failing to complete the entire course of treatment.

According to his termination documents, Miller has a history of violations that include an OVI crash and a no-call, no-show for his duties in 2011 and another probation violation in 2012.
