Poland Library set to reopen on Friday

Updated:

POLAND, Ohio - The Poland Library is scheduled to reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning.

The library closed on November 16th after employees discovered a foul odor. An air quality company determined the smell was hydrogen sulfide coming from the water in the elevator sump pit.

"They did the appropriate testing and have confirmed for us that the occupied spaces are not a risk. So, every now and then there might be an intermittent smell, but it is not of levels that are of concern," said Library Director Heidi Daniel.

Kravitz Deli, which sits in the basement of the library, will be open at 10 a.m. on Friday morning and the book store will open Monday.
