AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - A company that conducts seismic testing for oil and gas well drillers wants to test land in Austintown Township.
The company gave township officials a presentation on the methods it uses to test for fault lines.
The Route 46 fire station is one of about a dozen parcels owned by the township that could be included in the testing area.
Trustees have asked the company for a list of other communities where the testing has been done so they can do more research.
