WARREN, Ohio - The Warren JFK girls basketball season is over after four games.
21 Sports has learned that the rest of the season was canceled on Thursday because of a lack of players.
The Eagles opened the season with seven players and after a couple of games had only five players left due to illnesses.
They lost all four games this season.
Sources close to the program say canceling the rest of the season was in the best interest of players safety.
Last season, with only eight players, the Eagles advanced to the district championship game before losing to Windham.
