WARREN, Ohio - A new partnership will help Warren's Tech Belt Energy Innovation Center provide valuable assistance to energy entrepreneurs.

The Tech Belt Center is officially joining the nationally recognized Jump Start Network.

Local leaders say that as a connected network partner, the center will provide coaching and mentoring to help start-up companies grow their businesses.

State Representative Tom Letson says the partnership will be beneficial because it will allow start-up companies "see what other people are doing in other places and give them a little bit of a heads up on how to run the program and just exactly what to expect."

The city of Warren and Mayor Doug Franklin recently made a five year, $250,000 commitment in support of operational funding for the Tech Belt Center.
