WARREN, Ohio- A non-profit organization spreads Christmas cheer with a free holiday dinner.

The Warren Family Mission prepared its Community Christmas feast Saturday for more than 2,000 people.

About 200 people filled the dining hall in just the first hour of the event that ran through 5 p.m.

Close to 75 volunteers were serving everything from ham and stuffing to punch and dessert.

Parents were also invited to enter their children into a drawing for 10 free bikes before Santa makes his stop into town.

"We're just hoping to bring families together too, because a lot of people right now are struggling, it's, our wish is to bring families together and serve them a meal at the holiday and then we're also giving them a take out box to have on Christmas day too," Michelle Beauchene said, Warren Family Mission spokesperson.
