3 arrested in Columbiana County for violating state hunting regulations

ELK RUN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Three people have been charged with violating state hunting regulations in Columbiana County.

State game officials have filed charges against 18-year-old Kyle Melott of Leetonia, 19-year-old Nathan Schultz of Columbiana and 20-year-old George Love of New Springfield.

Deputies arrested the trio in early December in Elk Run Township allegedly using a shotgun and a spotlight to hunt wildlife from a vehicle.
