TRUMBULL COUNTY, Ohio - A Trumbull County teacher is back home after a mission of compassion to Newtown, Connecticut.
Warren G. Harding teacher Tracy Gogel delivered messages of support to the community of Newtown.
Students and teachers crafted hand-made cards to send to the families who lost loved ones.
"The coming together, it was amazing the way that everyone just offered to help. And I'm sure that was the case in many schools, but here, the kids, you know everyone just pulled together," Gogel said.
Gogel and her mother left cards and donated teddy bears at memorial sites throughout Newtown and at Sandy Hook Elementary.
