Jogger struck and killed in Mercer County

GROVE CITY, Pennsylvania - A Grove City woman was struck and killed while jogging in Mercer County.

Pennsylvania State Police say 22-year-old Megan Kays died on Tuesday morning.

She was hit by a truck while crossing State Route 58 at Airport Road.

The driver of the truck is a 27-year-old woman from Venango County.

    Authorities in Mercer county are investigating reports of thieves skimming credit guards to steal consumers personal information. It happened recently at Wagler's Camp Perry service station in Clarks Mills.   Skimming happens when thieves unlock gas pumps and connect a skimmer to the card reader which steals information when a customer swipes a credit or debit card.

    A monument honoring the men and women who have served during conflicts in Middle Eastern countries was dedicated in Trumbull's Memorial Park on Monday As an Eagle Scout project, Liam McGee raised $4,200 to buy the monument and came up with wording that was approved by several veterans organizations.
