AKRON, Ohio (AP) - A 14-year-old Ohio girl who has accused a police officer of breaking her arm in a school altercation last fall has been charged with assaulting a teacher and a classmate more recently.

An Akron teacher allegedly was hit twice as the screaming girl chased a boy and threw a binder.

The girl was transferred from another school where she says her arm was broken by a police officer working security. No charges have been filed in that case.

Akron schools say they take discipline seriously.

Her attorney tells WEWS-TV in Cleveland that it was known that the girl was troubled, but the alleged assault doesn't change the facts of last fall's incident.

The girl's mother filed a complaint Nov. 7 on the incident, which was captured on surveillance cameras.
