“Tell Me Your Story” Seeks to Find Out How Individuals Were Able To Overcome Domestic Abuse

Memphis, TN (PRWEB) January 16, 2013

Adonna Seals, author of 'Abused Twice', is on a relentless mission to spread awareness about domestic abuse. Domestic violence is a far reaching social ill that affects men, women, and children. Studies show that domestic violence is the number-one public health issue for women and impacts nearly one in seven men and more than 3 million children. Additionally, nearly three out of four people living in the United States know someone who has been a victim of domestic violence.

Adonna has created “Tell Me Your Story” so that domestic abuse survivors, and those affected by domestic violence can tell their personal testimonies, of how they were able to overcome their abusive situations. These stories will help break the yoke of bondage and show others that they too can be freed from their abusive situations.

The public is invited to submit their stories online or by e-mail at yourstory(at)abusedtwice(dot)com, to share their stories of support, survival, hope and perseverance. With your permission, your story and your photograph will be published in Adonna Seals’ upcoming book, 'Abused Twice II'. Please visit the above link form more information.

However, time is running out and 'Abused Twice II' is rapidly coming to completion. We are seeking up to five hundred personal testimonials. There is no length requirement, and your story will be published in its entirety.

If you are in the Memphis or Mid-South area and would like to have your video testimony taped in our studio, please contact us below. Your video testimony will be featured on YouTube as well as http://www.abusedtwice.com.
