Valley well represented in The Ohio North-South Classic

Updated:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - National Letter of Intent day is three weeks away and the all star games are right around the corner.

Five area players and a coach will be a part of the longest running all star game in the country, The Ohio North-South Classic in April in Dayton.

Struthers head coach Curt Kuntz will be an assistant for the north. It's quite an honor for him after leading the Cats to six wins in his first season, their first winning campaign since 2000.

Kuntz is the only area coach to be on staff, but he won't be the only local representative.

Struthers running back David Stewart is joining his coach. Also representing the area; Warren Harding's Jalyn Powell and Lashun Daniels, linemen frank Saban of Niles and Connor Sharp of West Branch also part of the local contingent.
