HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - A new court filing says the NCAA has agreed not to spend the $12 million paid to it under a consent agreement with Penn State over the Jerry Sandusky child molestation scandal.

A Pennsylvania judge on Wednesday put on hold a request by state Sen. Jake Corman for an injunction citing a request by both Corman and the college sports' governing body.

The request stated that the NCAA has told Corman "that for multiple reasons it has no intention to disburse" the money in the immediate future. The NCAA, it says, has promised to give Corman two months' notice if that happens.

Corman's lawsuit argues that the NCAA's plans to spend $60 million over five years from Penn State runs afoul of his oversight role in state spending.
