Firefighters battle a blaze in Shenango Township


SHENANGO TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania - Investigators are looking for the cause of a stubborn fire in Mercer County.

A passersby on Interstate 80 spotted smoke in Shenango Township on Monday afternoon.

Fire crews located the blaze at a property on Hnida Road.

Three structures were on fire, including a garage and a double wide home.

The fire chief tells 21 News that battling the blaze was made difficult by high wind gusts.

No one from the Rob Murrow family was home at the time. Several pets were lost in the fire.
