Coroner releases information on North Jackson fire victims

Updated:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Mahoning County Coroner has released new information on the deaths of two people who perished in an early morning fire in North Jackson on Sunday.

The coroner's office says a badly burned male found in the Duck Creek Road home likely died of smoke inhalation.

They are still trying to confirm his identity through dental records, but believe the victim is Jeffrey Todd Davenport.

The second victim has been positively identified by the coroner as Davenport's mother, 75-year-old Audrey Lundsford.

Her body was discovered in her bedroom with no evidence of trauma. An autopsy will be conducted on Wednesday.
