The Mahoning County Coroner's Office is still waiting for an official ruling from the Ohio Department of Health in the death of a four-year-old Boardman boy who died earlier this month. The boy's mother, Shannon Ewert tells 21 News she found her son Hunter unconscious on the morning of January 12th. The night before the young boy complained of a sore throat and was running a slight fever. He was pronounced dead at Akron Children's Hospital Mahoning Valley. At this point, the coroner's office says all signs point to the flu as the cause of death.
