GREEN BAY, Wisconsin - Youngstown State sophomore Ashley Dow won both backstroke events while freshman diver Bec Stafford won both dives as the Penguins dropped a 175-123 dual to Green Bay on Saturday afternoon at Dorschel Natatorium. 

Senior Samantha Roberts also picked up a victory for the Penguins finishing first in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:26.32. Roberts placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke clocking in at 1:09.42. 

Stafford won the three-meter dive with a score of 266.85 while Casey Hill was third at 257.50. In the one-meter dive, Stafford was first with a 266.15 while Hill was second at 255.75. 

Dow continued her strong run of performances with two more victories. In the 100-yard backstroke she posted a time of 58.67 and won the 200 at 2:06.49, a two-and-a-half second victory. 

In the 100-yard freestyle, Jana Janson was second with a time of 55.83 seconds and second in the 50-yard free clocking in at 25.67 seconds. 

Laura Paz placed second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 2:10.40 while Megan Ciampa placed third in the 1,650-yard freestyle at 18:34.42. 

The Penguins return home to play host to Bowling Green next Saturday. The meet is set for noon.
