Boardman pizza shop owner providing meals for fire victims

Updated:

BOARDMAN, Ohio - This is likely the first of many nights away from home for the families that lived in the Mill Creek Village Apartments.

Since many of the people displaced because of the fire are staying in Boardman motels, at least one local business owner wanted to make sure they had something to eat.

The owner of the Pizza Joe's on Market Street is donating nearly a dozen pizzas to the families He was busy making them late this afternoon.

He says it was just the right thing to do. "Those are some customers of ours we found out. They order from that building over there. We're happy to help them out and get them through the night. II's important to give back," said Mario Lamarca, Boardman Pizza Joe's.

Lamarca says if they need more, he'll make them.
