Hubbard School superintendent makes generous donation

Updated:

HUBBARD, Ohio - Hubbard School Superintendent Richard Buchenic made a generous donation to the school system on Monday night.

Buchenic will work the 2013-2014 school year for just $1.

The rest of his $85,000 a year salary will be used to complete construction of the school's baseball and softball fields, re-surface the track, possibly add turf to the football field and add a band shell.

Buchenic plans to retire at the end of the 2014 school year.
