Detroit beats Youngstown State 88-77

DETROIT (AP) - Nick Minnerath scored 27 points and Ray McCallum had 23 points, six rebounds and five assists to lead Detroit to an 88-77 victory over Youngstown State Friday night.

Jason Calliste added 16 points and Doug Anderson had 11 points and a team-high seven rebounds for the Titans (15-8, 7-3 Horizon), who have won three in a row.

Kendrick Perry led the Penguins (13-9, 5-4) with 22 points. Kamren Belin made six 3-pointers and finished with 19 points, and Damian Eargle had 13 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocked shots for Youngstown State.

The game saw 12 lead changes but the Penguins never led by more than two points.
