YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Elected officials, community leaders and some television personalities faced off on the hardwood on Saturday to raise money for sick children in the Valley.
The 9th annual Game of Hope was held at Youngstown State University's Beeghly Center.
The winter classic raises money for the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley. The non-profit organization raises money to benefit chronically and terminally ill children.
"We think we're going to raise around $10,000 this year because we think that everyone has come out and really supported us and the community has supported this foundation from the get go," said Tony Spano from the Hope Foundation.
The event has raised over $75,000 over the past eight years.
