YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Youngstown State University women's basketball player Brandi Brown who holds the record for career free throw attempts and makes.
She's on target to claim a few more records before her playing days are over.
The accolades don't stop on the basketball court either. Brown has been recognized for her work in the classroom as well,
She's on the Capital One Academic All-District team.
Brown will be part of a vote later this month for Academic All-American consideration.
No Penguin has ever earned that status before in women's basketball.
