YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The alleged dumping incident on property at D&L Energy prompted a harsh reaction from a Mahoning County Commissioner.

At Thursday's meeting of the Mahoning County Commissioners, Carol Rimedio-Righetti said such irresponsible action will unfortunately reflect on the entire industry.

"That's what upsets me. For so many positive things that this new industry is going to bring to the Valley in jobs, this could be turned around in a minute with someone who's not a good steward of that company," Rimedio-Righetti said.

The commissioner hopes that any violations will bring the harshest of penalties.
