No. 1 Indiana, No. 10 Ohio State coming off losses

Updated:

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - When wounded top-10 teams Indiana and Ohio State meet on Sunday, both will be desperate.

But Buckeyes coach Thad Matta expected as much long before each lost earlier this week.

Top-ranked Indiana gets little time to recover from a stunning 74-72 loss at Illinois on Thursday night in which the Hoosiers were outscored 13-2 down the stretch and lost when Tyler Griffey sank an unguarded layup at the buzzer.

The 10th-ranked Buckeyes are coming off a 76-74 overtime loss at No. 3 Michigan on Monday, falling short on a chance to tie when Aaron Craft's last-second layup was blocked by Tim Hardaway Jr.

Matta says the challenge for both teams is trying to learn from a loss but not hold onto the defeat for too long.
