Valley businesses turn out to support Junior Achievement

Updated:

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Dozens of employees from various Valley companies hit the bowling lanes on Saturday to raise money for the area's youth.

General Motors workers, employees from Huntington Bank, Hill, Barth and King, L. Calvin Jones and Trumbull County Children Services participated in the Junior Achievement's 20th Annual Bowl-A-Thon at Wedgewood Lanes in Austintown.

The money raised will support Junior Achievement programs that teach students about financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship.

Junior Achievement holds bowl-a-thons three times a year. The next one will take place in May.
