Victim identified, suspect named in Princeton Avenue shooting

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Police issued a murder warrant for the arrest of Emmett Perkins IV, the suspect in an early morning shooting Tuesday that has left Frank Whitted, 28, dead.

Officers were called to 422 W. Princeton Ave. around 1:30 a.m. where they found Whitted shot in the chest. He was transported to St. Elizabeth Health Center where he died.

Police are now attempting to locate Perkins.
