Boldon turns season around without a full compliment of players

Posted: Updated:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown State University women's basketball team is tied for second place with Detroit in the Horizon League.

The women's 17 wins are the most since the 1999 season when the Penguins had 22 wins.

Coach Bob Boldon has turned the season around without a full complement of players.

"We're getting there. I'm real happy with the nine players that we have, they're healthy. I think we may be adding a couple more before the conference tournament starts. The nine players that have traveled with us have been spectacular and I'm just thrilled with them," Boldon said.
