YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - An appeal hearing is set for Wednesday for a Youngstown man who was convicted and sentenced for a 2006 murder.
The Seventh District Court of Appeals will hear the case of Darrin Moore who was sentenced 59 years to life in prison for gunning down Robert Smith on Youngstown's east side.
Moore's first conviction was overturned on appeal, but a jury eventually found him guilty.
Moore, who is one day from turning 27, was just 17-years-old at the time of the murder.
