FARRELL, Pennsylvania - A Farrell man was arrested after he was accused of stealing a safe and dumping it into a lake.

Twenty-four-year old Brandon Taylor faces burglary, criminal trespassing, theft and receiving stolen property charges.

Police say Taylor broke in to a South Pymatuning Township home and stole $40,000 and jewelry from a safe which he then threw in the Shenango River Lake.

He is also charged with stealing $220 dollars from his grandmother by forging a check he stole from her purse.
