YSU's Heidi Schlegel out with a knee injury

Posted: Updated:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A quick turnaround for the YSU Lady Penguins who play Saturday afternoon at Loyola.

Heidi Schlegel injured her right knee in the second half of the Cleveland State game on Thursday night.

She made the trip to Illinois, but will undergo tests early next week to see the extent of the injury to her knee.

That means the Penguins will be undermanned again.

"If we play with seven, we play with seven. I truly believe that if we play with five, those five will play as hard as they can for as long as they can. The game is a different game now than it was years ago. We stop playing every four minutes, sit down and take media timeouts and talk and drink water," Coach Boldon said.
