One person hospitalized after car accident on I-680

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio-  One person has been hospitalized after a car accident on Interstate 680 Monday morning.

Police say the accident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on the on ramp to 680 from Martin Luther King Blvd. Officials are still sorting out details, but say a car had been found on the side of the Interstate.

The Youngstown Fire Department had to be called to cut the driver out of the car.

The unidentified victim was transferred to the hospital where the person is listed in stable condition.
