WASHINGTON, DC - Valley Congressman Tim Ryan is joining state Democratic lawmakers in bashing Governor Kasich's proposal to use Ohio Turnpike bonds to generate funds for state highway projects.
Ryan provided written testimony on Tuesday to the Ohio House Finance Committee questioning the prudence of increasing Ohio's debt for highway improvements, and expressing concern that tolls may increase.
The governor's proposal says it would generate about one and a half billion dollars for state highway projects.
