Campbell City Schools narrow search for superintendent

CAMPBELL, Ohio - Campbell City Schools has narrowed its search for a new superintendent to three candidates.

The candidates include:

  • Matthew Bowen: Worked as an Associate Principal for Struthers City Schools and as an Elementary Principal for West Branch Local Schools.

  • Gregory Pollock: Currently serves as Director of Business Affairs at Aurora City Schools in Aurora, Ohio and previously served as principal as well.

  • Timothy Pivolich: Served as an Instructional Consultant for the Mahoning County Educational Service Center and principal for Brookfield City Schools.

School officials say interviews for the final three candidates will take place next Monday and Tuesday. A decision is expected to be made by the end of March.

Officials say 22 applications were originally received for the position.
